Here's the story.....

I was sat in the passenger seat of my Mum's car driving back home after taking the dog for a muddy walk.
School was out and consequently there were lots of Mums, Dads and kiddos milling around.
I'm minding my own business and staring out of the window when I spot two little girls; they can't have been more than 4 years old.
They saw each other, their faces lit up and they ran to each other, arms open and embraced.

Light bulb! Blog post idea in an instant. Love those moments!

We don't embrace any-more as a society. OK we embrace material objects, situations and celebrities, but we don't embrace people.
I'm not saying you go up to the next person you see on the street and hug them, although I would do that, but not everyone's a hugger.

We're too worried about who people are , what their backgrounds are like and what things they have experienced. I'm not saying don't be careful, we are all well aware that that there are some very nasty people out there.

Just be open. Just be approachable. Just be friendly.

Be the change.

Beautiful! I could not agree with you more. I often wonder how things would change if we truly saw others through the eyes of Jesus. I imagine we maybe would be running up to hug someone. :-) Love your post, and I'm so glad you linked up with Tuesday's Prayer's this week. You're always such a blessing. Praying your week is blessed indeed my friend!
