What Are Your Blog Plans This Year?

I make resolutions every year and normally I break them within a month. My resolutions have always been to lose weight, be a better person etc. This year though they seem more blog focused.

It got me thinking, what are you blog plans this year?

I posed this question to you all on Twitter and Facebook, and these lovely ladies replied.

Mia

Nicole

Rebekah

I think they are all great targets, and they are all personal to that person and their blog.

As you all know from my resolutions post I'm reading 'Blog Inc', which is such an inspirational and creative book, it's given me so many ideas!

So here's the deal, this blog is going to change this year, whether that's a little or big change I don't know yet, but its going to change.

With the help of all of you I want to build a better community. Lets get people talking about what is happening in the world, and what we can do to change it.
We can't go through life with the mentality 'well someone else will do it'. We can't guarantee that that 'someone' will come.

I'm still going to include the recipe and craft posts, because that is part of who I am, but I also want things to get a little more real.
I'm going to open up, finally!
Sometimes most of the time my life isn't as exciting as I make out. I live at home still, have no job, no friends in this city, which in turn gives me no social life. All this is going to change. My vowing right here that I'm going to take a conscious step to make a difference, will make me take that step.
I'm going to document all my adventures here, and I can't wait to read yours.

I'm ready for the change, are you?

That's great Helen. There are lovely ideas here and also many ways you could get out there a bit more. What about some volunteering? Good luck! I posted my blog goals yesterday.

Happy New Year Helen!
I want my blog to change in 2013 too. Obviously, the main goal would be to write better blog content! I want to be more creative. Just ordered Blog Inc, have heard so many positive things about it!

I'm struggling with this one. I'm having a baby at the end of the month/beginning of Feb (or whenever he decides!) and I'd like to document that ... but I really don't want to become a mommy blogger exclusively. Hopefully I'll still have the motivation and energy to blog at all once he gets here!

I have a few blogging goals. Mainly gaining more genuine readers and producing good content. Doing something sponsored would be awesome too but I have no clue how to go about that! Oh well, 2013 is gonna be a good year regardless :)

glad to see you are so focused. I think I feel the opposite. I don't care about my blog like I did. I really want to just be myself, take more time for family and not be so caught up in trying to make a blog grow...which makes me feel conceded..because i don't do it for money or to share something really great like you want to. I just share me. SO, alas, I think I just want to be more me.
