Dirty 30

Eeeeeeee Mia's here! I love this girl. She's totally my sister from another mister. Guess what? She's sharing party pins :) Pin obsessed; yep that's me.

Hi there, lovely Eat. Enjoy. Live. readers!  I'm Mia from The Chronicles of Chaos and I'm so thankful to Helen for giving me the opportunity to talk to you guys today.

So, I have something important coming up in March.  It's a little bit depressing to me, but admittedly a little bit exciting as well.

I'm turning the big 3-0! I can't believe it! Thirty. Thirty?! I mean, say it out loud, "I'm thirty years old." It's just weird to me. But it is an important milestone, one that I believe needs to be celebrated in style. Here are some 30th birthday party "pins" that I'm totally in love with:

Thankfully, I still have 5 more months to plan my 30th birthday festivities... So help me out ladies!! What did you do for your 30th birthday?

Thanks again to Helen for having me! xo

30 is not so bad - says a woman in her 30s. (haha). Since my 30th birthday, I developed a case of amnesia. When someone asks, I had to pause every time trying to remember how old I am.

Thirty bottles of wine comes to mind. That way you will have enough to celebrate the night and a few days afterwards. I got married on my 30th so I sacrificed a party for a honeymoon. It was a no brainer.
Good luck with the preparation... no matter what it is going to be great.
I am following you now and look forward to seeing what you decided.

I'm turning 30 in August... and I am trying to prepare myself for a lack of awesomeness... I love my hubby, but he has NO skills when it comes to planning/celebrating things. I'm hoping that I'll be able to fly and visit family/friends... we'll have to see :/ I'll probably end up buying myself some booze and a cupcake LOL

rather than a big party, i opted for a trip to san fran with my husband and baby (our first). it was an amazing time and i wouldn't have done it any other way!

ps - the 30s rock. no reason to be depressed!

xo,
Kimberly
