Photo Diary - Scarborough {June 2012}

We all know that actions speak louder than words right? Well I think the same is true for images.
Over the next few months I'll be updating you with what's happening in my life via pictures. I don't take enough photos, and I don't mean the nice 'lets pose and have big smiles' kind, I mean the 'I may look stupid but that is genuine laughter on my face' kind.
I'm travelling a lot this summer, even if its only to visit friends, and I intend to document all these travels with photo diaries.

Here's my first:

Where? Scarborough, East Yorkshire.
With who? Mum.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Scarborough's location, which I suspect is most of you. Its here....

Right on the coast.
We've had a caravan here since I was 8 and I have many happy childhood memories.

Games were played - I can't play draughts for toffee and Mum always cheats at rummy, not on purpose though she says......
Walking with Mum on Filey beach meant the dog fell straight to sleep as soon as we got home.
I didn't buy any rock =( Doesn't it look good though? I'd definitely go for the lemon flavour.
I adore this home d├ęcor shop in Filey. I spend way to much money every time I'm there because they have all these cute quote signs. "You can't beat the good old days", Marilyn would totally agree! "Some people want it to happen, some wish it would, others make it happen".
The last two are exactly how I feel about everyone I've met through blogging. "Enter as strangers.....leave as friends." "Side by side or miles apart friends are forever close at heart."

"Happiness is not a destination it's a way of life".
Yummy lunch of chicken salad lettuce cups.
This is what the sky looked like just after the most incredible storm.
We spent today driving around the tiniest country lanes visiting garden centres.

This week has been so much fun, and I'm out thrifting tomorrow for my entire summer wardrobe! I'll be blogging about that tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone who's linked up. I've so enjoyed reading your blogs.

Ahhh whenever I think of Scarborough, I think of that one song - Are you goin' to Scarborough fair... And that is all.
Your dog is so cute! Or is it your mom's? Either way - adorable.

Thanks Alyx. She's technically my Dad's, but she is sooo cute! She smells of wet dog now though, thanks to the rain =(
