Recipe - Provencal Beef Stew

I love, love, love this recipe. Its my yummy dinner for this evening.
Its made in a slow cooker or crock pot (I think that is the US equivalent).


450g beef stewing steak, raw, lean, cut into cubes.
1 small onion, chopped.
300g mushrooms, sliced.
2 garlic cloves, crushed.
2 medium carrots, sliced.
425g butter beans, drained and rinsed.
1 cube vegetable stock, made up with 350ml of hot water.
400g chopped tomatoes.
1/2 tsp dried oregano.
1/4 tsp thyme.
1/2 tsp salt.
1/4 tsp pepper.


You ready.....its SO easy......
Place everything in the slow cooker switch it onto low and leave for 6-7 hours. Make it in the morning, and dinner's done for when you get home from work; simple!

I added a handful of spinach to this recipe just because I had some in the fridge.
